In life, the success presents itself in the different aspects of the live. Generally, success is defined as the ability to achieve goals, what people want in their lives and how they try to get it. Moreover, our view of success differs from one person to another. Moreover, our views of success are influenced by different reasons in the life such as influence from their families, having different views because of generation differences or age differences and the gender.
Different ages or generation has different standpoints about success. In the modern life, the dissension between young people and the old people is shown clearly. The reasons are lifestyle and sight of the life. For some elderly, who were affected by the old lifestyle; their old fashioned viewpoint maybe have enough food to eat , enough water to drink …, so that is a successful life to them. On the other hand, in modern life, almost young people have a prosperous life, so their goal would concentrate on power, money, fashion…Besides that, the people view of success maybe changes by the time. For example, when they are young, their goal would be rich, powerful, relationship, traveling around the world… However, when their live reach middle age, their points of view about success are mostly about the happy families, children. These let us know that people view of success is not fixed.
Families play an important role to orient their children’s sight of success. Children, who look like the plain paper, easy get information from their parents undoubtedly. For that reason, the parents can drive their children to the way they think it would be most successful. For example, if the parents think the success is money, they will lead their children’s mind to money. By the time, when the children grow up, their view of success would be obviously money. Undoubtedly, their live would involve the business or the well-paid jobs which make them well off.
Male or female often has unlike decision about their way to success. This is because of the lifestyle or maybe their culture. A lot of women do not want to compete too much with their husbands about the career. For that reason, they become the housewives. To them, meaningful success is taking care of their families and looking their children to grow up. On the other hand, lots of men always have the dreams about a well to do life or power. As a result, their views tend to exert their business stability than getting married or having families.
In conclusion, the success can be anything, depending on what we think or what we live for. They can be money, power…or maybe just the rest or the family. For that reason, to some people, family is just a normal thing in their live, but it can be a success to the other ones. It means that every people’s views about success are unlike, that bring to them about different choice in their future.
